Fictionals

The Fictionals began in the swamps of Florida when Jesús Menacho met twin brothers Liam and Cameron Wright, via a craigslist ad they posted seeking musical collaborators. Six years, three degrees, and 1,000 miles later, the three songwriters reunited in a covid era NYC and set forth to carry the spirit of garage rock onward in the city that had birthed many of their musical influences.

By 2026, they had released six singles and recruited New York native Harrison Reed as their dynamic drummer. Their sound leans into the catchy pop side of post punk, full of skronky guitar melodies, and favoring the odd and offbeat charm of new wave.
